=untitled=
I open my eyes
I try to see but I'm blinded by the white light
I can't remember how
I can't remember why
I'm lying here tonight
And I can't stand the pain
And I can't make it go away
No I can't stand the pain
Everybody's screaming
I try to make a sound but no one hears me
I'm slipping off the edge
I'm hanging by a thread
I wanna start this over again
So I try to hold onto a time when nothing mattered
And I can't explain what happened
And I can't erase the things that I've done
No I can't
How could this happen to me
I made my mistakes
I've got no where to run
The night goes on
As I'm fading away
I'm sick of this life
I just wanna scream
How could this happen to me

hehs..saw this song on lide's blog and reminded me that I actually have this song..haha quite nice..sorry for being such a copycat =P pai say lide! =)
wouldn't it be nice if we were older
then we wouldn't have to wait so long
and wouldn't it be nice to live together
in the kind of world where we belong
you know it's gonna make it that much better
when we can say goodnight and stay together
wouldn't it be nice if we could wake up
in the morning when the day is new
and after having spent the day together
hold each other close the whole night through
happy times together we've been spending
i wish that every kiss was neverending
wouldn't it be nice
maybe if we think and wish and hope and pray it might come true
baby then there wouldn't be a single thing we couldn't do
we could be married
and then we'd be happy
wouldn't it be nice
you know it seems the more we talk about it
it only makes it worse to live without itbut lets talk about it
wouldn't it be nice

Just like there's a thin line between sanity and insanity
there's also a thin line between love and hatred

haha..when we were having our shower after training today, someone started singing these lyrics:
Nights of light so soon become
Wild and free I can feel the sun
Your every wish will be done
They tell me
And more joined in:
Show me the meaning of being lonely
Is this the feeling I need to walk with
Tell me why I can't be there where you are
There's something missing in my heart
And finally, with precise timing, I came in:
There's nowhere to run
I have no place to go
Surrender my heart, body, and soul
How can it be
You're asking me
To feel the things
The things you never show

=a hangover i don't deserve=
You, you called me out
You said your done with me
But i can't seem to remember anything at 3am
Am I that guy?
The one that's happy hanging with my friends
and 5 drinks in I'm in love again
I can't remember what I said
But I swear I meant no harm
I tried to knock on your window
But I set off your alarm
And the days dragged on like a tail pipe band
The nights they ain't so long
And the taxi cab I'm riding in is blaring our favourite song again

=amour, no es amour=
I was waiting patiently at the train station for my train to go home. Suddenly, the train arrived without notice and surprised me. Whoa! So early?! Without further hesitation I boarded this train. The lighting it had were very bright and comfy, while the seats were spacious and errr, comfy as well! And so, after passengers alighted and boarded the train, it set off for the final destination. The journey was quite smooth-sailing, and just when I was about to fall asleep, the train started screeching to a halt, decelerating at a very quick pace. I was shocked and snapped out of my half-awake half-asleep state of mind. I looked around at the surroundings. It was quite a majestic sight! A breath-taking one too! It was a full moon, and there were oak trees along the railway track.
(NB: This is NOT a spoiler for the movie Ghost Train. In fact, it has nothing to do with it.) The only light was from the moon and the reflection of the moon could be seen clearly on the surface of a peaceful and calm lake nearby. Wolves could be heard howling in a distance, however, this did not seem to bother me abit. Recovering from the brief reverie, I asked the old lady sitting opposite me about the situation we were in. The train had broken down, and we were still a long long long way, and I really mean long way from our final destination! What good luck to begin with! I started to panick and decided to ask some questions from this old lady, who seemed knowledgable and wise.
"Hmm...So excuse me milady, but what do we do now?" I asked timidly.
"Well, that's up to you!" The old lady replied as if she were asked this question a million times.
"Hmm...I'm actually asking how do we get to our destination from here?", I was bent on getting the answers.
And as if the train understood what I was saying, the doors opened. Soon, many passengers, some still stretching after being awoken from their slumber, proceeded out of the train. I followed the old lady out, and this time with a warmer tone she explained, "You see my boy, these trains break down every now and then. There's no warning, all a surprise. If you're lucky, you might just board a train that doesn't break down at all and see you safely to your destination. In a nutshell, I think it's sheer destiny." She gave a sigh and continued, "Unfortunately some of the passengers here refused to accept my stand. But, everyone has their own view, if not the world would be so so boring, don't you agree?" She gave a heartwarming smile. She gave me a pat on the back and went back speaking, "As I mentioned, it's your choice. You can choose to wait for another train or just walk towards your destination till another train arrives and you board it!" She herself, started to take long steady strides forward to where the train originally headed for. In the far distance ahead where the people alighted from the carriages in front of me, likewise when I turned my head behind, some had already begun walking. Of these, again some were slow, some were faster. However, there were people who have decided to sit and wait patiently for the next available train to arrive. In my own perspective, I would not know how long the train would take to come, so with absolute determination, I began my walk, knowing the speed would not matter, to my destination.

I thought by waking up early I could avoid the crowd at the doctor's. However, when I arrived I found quite a number of them waiting for their turn. The dreaded feeling of having to wait was demoralising, but still I took a queue number. Oh! 33 the small piece of thermal paper read. What a coincidence. Its like something haunting you everywhere you go. No matter where you go. Well, I had no choice but to wait patiently as I watched 32 people go in to the consultation room one by one, and as they came out of that room they all had the same expression. The electronic number board beeped 33. Yay my turn! I turned my head around and saw even more people waiting for their turn. They ranged from the young, like 14 years old? To the middle aged, it's like people from all walks of life. Interesting ain't it? A monotonous voice said "Come in." when I knocked the door and turned the door knob. Whoa. I was stunned by the magnificent decor of the room. Several familiar objects came to view: a Newton's cradle, a crystal ball and a very beautiful picture of a couple sitting under an apple tree. And I really mean beautiful. It's so so captivating! My mind suddenly focused and I sighed. Not again.
"Hi! Take a seat and make yourself comfortable. Hmmm...You're new here aren't you? Haven't seen you before if my memory hasn't failed me. Well, some of the people that you might have seen outside are my regular customers!" The doctor said with a laugh. He was quite pleasant looking I guess. And he had an aura around him that makes you feel that he's a good listener and you would feel secure telling him everything.
"Hmmm..So how long has the thing happened before the symptoms developed?" He said in a serious tone, meaning business.
"1 month? 6 months? A year? I really don't know" I gave a confused reply.
He gave a frown and suddenly with enthusiasm, he said, "Well young man. Not to worry too much. Much as you think you're alone, you're actually not. Haha! Treat life with a positive attitude and all will be fine! Well, you have a bright future ahead, so go for it! And oh, don't try to think too much yeah?"
I asked curiously "Hmmm..so you're not going to prescribe me any medication?"
After giving me a very hearty laughter which led me to think he was kinda rude, he said "Of course not! I believe you can recover on your own!"
And as I stood up from the leather couch and was about to open the door, he added, "Well sonny, I wish you good luck in whatever in you do. And well, maybe if things go right this would be your first and last visit!". He gave a wink.

=192, rosier=
I sat with him in this coffee house on the second floor, which had a very strong antique ambience. Wooden parquet floors, marble tables even the fans. I was sipping my hot coffee slowly while he was staring intently outside the glass windows.
I too got curious and looked outside. People could be seen singing, children were jumping happily along the streets.
"What's happening?", he asked.
"Oh, preparing for the celebrations, I guess! You know, the war's over. And the people never felt so carefree as before.", I replied, this time taking a gulp of coffee.
He shook his head, giving a distraught look. "No, it's not over. It has only.. begun."
My tongue got burnt by the hot coffee as he spoke these words, and my exaggerating actions overturned my cup, sending it over the protection of the table, and it headed down to the floor with the help of gravity.

=meant to live=
It's weird how history is remembered
So it's true that as time passes by, things are forgotten?
Some people may think that it's sad that things are happening this way
Some people think otherwise
It's even weirder that people only treasure things when they are not around
When they are readily available, their value seemed to be non-existent
Have we simply lost it all?

=suspended animation=
Dreams are long forgotten
while memories become rotten
I lifted my finger with an ease, with much eager to point it at somebody
But no one, not a single soul was around
