=The Law of The Universe; Part VI: The Never-Changing Facts That We've To Live With=
Song ringing in my head:

water is flowing from a tap into a tank at x cm^3/min
water is flowing out from the same tank through a leak at y cm^3/min
assuming in a perfect condition, to increase the amount of water, it is logically sound to increase the value of x whilst decreasing the value of y
however, you're given only one choice
would you
increase x, or decrease y?

sometimes, do you ever question the purpose of your existence?
i remember saying some stuff before
but whether it can be done
that's the real test
lide's right i guess

maybe it's time to take out the mirror again
it's time to find some answers

the last thing i ever want is to become the very person that i hate the most

It's been quite some time since I had such a conversation
It's like everything that has been said was spot on
For once, everything that I said there was an explanation
Though at this point of time the explanations may be correct or wrong
that remains unknown

True enough, things are going to get more spicy from now on
But isn't that good, if not life would be so boring won't it?
Still remember the rule of the game?
if you can't take the heat, don't play the game
c'mon, let's get going

=The Law of The Universe; Part IV: The Blackout=

Song ringing in my head:
It Ends Tonight from the album Move Along by The All-American Rejects
Cocktail that I'm craving now:

Your subtleties
They strangle me
I can’t explain myself at all
And all the wants
And all the needs
All I don’t want to need at all

The walls start breathing
My minds unweaving
Maybe it’s best you leave me alone
A weight is lifted
On this evening
I give the final blow.

Looking at my watch, it says 15 minutes to 5
That's good, I'm early
It has been raining substantially ever since I got out of my house
and now I'm waiting patiently at the open bus-stop
I entertain myself by observing the evening traffic
the gleeful look on everybody's face as they rush to go home after a long week of work
yet the rain doesn't seem to dampen their spirit
Looking around me you can see others like me, holding an umbrella alone, my deduction is that they're probably waiting for somebody

A falling star
Least I fall alone
I can’t explain what you can’t explain
You're finding things that you didn’t know
I look at you with such disdain

The walls start breathing
My minds unweaving
Maybe it’s best you leave me alone
A weight is lifted
On this evening
I give the final blow

The sky is starting to turn to a nice shade of orange. They seem to blend well with the oak trees and the short buildings in the background. Somehow I wished I had my camera with me, I believe I could have probably taken a few nice pictures.
Apparently the people at the bus stop with the umbrellas were waiting for someone too, and some of them had already left the bus stop. I looked at my watch again. Okay maybe your late, the traffic could be heavy or sthg. Peak-hour traffic i believe. It's bloody cold out here! Every breath I exhale there is a whiff of smoke.

The lamp posts along the streets have lighted up, and the shade of the sky now was getting darker by the minute. The cars along this one-way street have also turned their head lamps on. Hmms. Could sthg be wrong? Could I have remembered the wrong time? I checked my planner, no, it stated here very clearly. 5 on this date.

The sky now has almost reached its darkest shade. The stars above shone brightly, and the crescent moon was well-defined and bright as well. I didn't know the night scenery could be so beautiful. Was it because of my situation now that allowed me to appreciate the surroundings better? It was probably like that everyday, but just that we hardly take notice of it. The bus-stop now barely left a handful of us. Still everyone had up their umbrella as the rain showed no sign of slowing or stopping.

Now I’m on my own side
It’s better than being on your side
It’s my fault when you're blind
It's better that I see it through your eyes

All these thoughts locked inside
Now you’re the first to know

And so I continued to wait and wait. And it continued to rain and rain. The once busy street now was as empty as ever. There was an eerie silence along this street. There were no one else except me and this other guy. Suddenly a high tempo of the cluttering of heels could be heard. A lady was seen running to the other person, apologising profusely for turning up late. So that only leaves me waiting, the umbrella still stays above my head, and the raindrops still splattering all around me.

I don't know how long I've waited for.
Day and night, day and night. I couldn't remember much. The whirl of cars and people came and go, came and go.
Still no sign of you.

On the n^th day, I feel myself growing weak. I couldn't grip onto my umbrella tightly anymore. Some of the raindrops started splattering on my hair now. Before I knew it, my umbrella dropped on the floor next to me. I fell to the ground on my knees. I was getting drenched, and my body felt colder than before. I struggled to stand up but to no avail. Even opening my eyes now seemed like a formidable feat. Using every ounce of strength I could I tried to open my eyes to see through my now blurry vision, with raindrops occasionally landing on my face.
You said you would come, I remembered that phrase very very clearly.

I now lay flat on the pavement, every part of my body shivering, not spared from the cruel rain. Somehow I felt I was losing it, though I told myself I musn't. At least not before you came. I just wanted to see the beautiful you again, was that a crime?

I couldn't remember much. All I recalled was a pair of arms swept me powerfully off the pavement up. The face features seemed familiar, though in that state I could hardly recognise or at least aware of my surroundings. The touch felt very warm. Warmth which I haven't felt in days. The next thing I knew, I drifted into unconsciousness.

And I dreamt.

I dreamt that you came, eventually. I didn't know how, I didn't know when. But surely, you did.

When darkness turns to light,
It ends tonight,
It ends tonight.

Where am I now? It feels warm and cosy around here. Oh no, am I still alive? I gave myself a pinch in the thighs. Ouch! That hurts. Great. I'm alive after all.

I'm gonna open my eyes now. I'm eager yet so afraid. What if the person, wasn't you?
