n/aFor 5 years he had known her.
Out of this 5 years, 4 years he liked her.
And out of this 4 years, 3 years he waited for her.
Before she left overseas for further studies, he requested for her to meet one last time.
"I will meet you at 7, Rainbow Cafe. I will be waiting."
Still she did not come, just like for the past 4 years.
Each time he asked her, she didn't arrive for the date.
Now that she's back, still as pretty as ever.
He asked her, "So why didn't you not turn up the previous time? I was there waiting for you, as usual."
She told him, "I don't have a reason."
[to be continued]

"Men in general judge more by the sense of sight than by the sense of touch, because everyone can see but only a few can test by feeling. Everyone sees what you seem to be, few know what you really are, and those few do not dare take a stand against the general opinion."- Niccolo Machiavelli, The PrinceSo then, who am I really?
But then again, does it really matter?
Isn't what you think of me, more important?

The young employee had grown accustomed to his ex's employers bonus sessions, where he had rarely got more than he expected. Now he was staring at a bonus that was bigger than his ex-CEO's entire compensation package. He sat in his chair, stunned. Someone had just handed him enough money to retire on, and he didn't know how to express his gratitude. His boss watched him, then asked, "Are you happy?" He nodded. The boss now leaned forward in his chair, lit up a cigar and stared at him and asked, "How can we make you happier?"
