originally
it was decided that as long there was a glimpse of hope opportunity
(because i always believed that hope was never an option anyways)
we would seize it and not let it go
apparently, as always, nothing goes according to plan.
and so, the few of us, armed with whatever we deemed necessary
dressed all smartly, so gentlemanly (or lady-like for the ladies)
made our way to our waypoint, with the sound of leather shoes pounding on the nicely polished marble flooring
we knew what we were supposed to do
we stopped outside the hall
and with precise coordination we stepped in together
it wasn't that hard to notice the entrance of a bunch of us dressed in suits and all.
there was a hesistation...
everybody stopped what they were doing and just stared at us
the next thing that happened? all hell broke loose, as if a magic spell was lifted and they finally realised what was going on.
we were now each on our own
the briefcases we carried weren't ordinary briefcases of course
we each knew, what we had to do.

suddenly, it just didn't feel like home
as they say, the only constant in life is change
and i guess, these are changes that take place too.
all i can, or should think now is, how to get out of it all. quick.
